Description
Summary: Develops test programs for Photonics Integrated devices. Confers with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products and provide production support to ISE customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Consults customers on the basic understanding of hardware design for ATE testing.
- Implements known production solutions.
- Operates computer-assisted engineering, design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks, such as driving all the analysis tools on ATE tester to do engineering analysis.
- Loads test programs, collects data logs, and debugs failing devices. Uses data analysis tools to do engineering analysis.
- Analyzes customer device requirements and identifies optimum test methodologies.
- Manages handler/prober communications with tester.
- Identifies the Operating Software requirements for ATE workstations (or computers).
- Manages the ATE workstation environment for customers.
- Communicates with customers to perform debugging and analysis on integrated circuits.
- Debugs customer’s test programs and suggests solutions to customers.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in Test Engineer, Product Engineer, or related positions strongly preferred. experience with PH
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
- experience with ATE testing on Advantest or Teradyne testers
- Knowledge of optical coupling and wafer sort
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple oriented tasks
- high-speed test or Silicon Photonics implementation a plus
Computer Skills:
- Detail knowledge - Digital (Basic and High Speed), Mixed-signal devices and electronics components
- General Knowledge: RF devices and Memory devices
- Software skills - C/C , JAVA, Visual Basic
- Operating Systems - Unix or similar
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Tools: VNA, Spectrum analyzer, knowledge of laser source and amplifier a plus
- Coherent optical communications with knowledge of optical to electrical converts a plus
- Knowledge of optical coupling and wafer sort
- HVM test techniques

Salary : $95,000 - $150,000
