What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barback position at Isla Bella Beach Resort?
DUTIES & FUNCTIONS

- Supply all necessary items to enable the bar to operate efficiently and with organization.
- Cater to the specific needs of the bar staff to ensure customer satisfaction ensuring speed and consistency.
- Keep bar stocked, assists in setting up and nightly clean-up of bar, washes glassware and utensils.
- Assist in preparation of juices and fruit.
- Assist the bartender.
- Remove all trash and takes to dumpster.
- Fills out banquet requisitions.
- Attend meetings/training as required by management.
- Perform duties, special assignments and projects as requested by management.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS General Requirements:
- Ability to attend to guests, associates and management in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner which requires strong customer service as well as written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and communicate in English to adequately perform the duties of the job.
- Basic knowledge of Food and Beverage etiquette service standards.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Must be detail-oriented in reviewing final drink and food products.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Must be energetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/attire and nametag.
- Comply with company, hotel and brand standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Employee must be able to maintain standards of attendance and punctuality and must be able to work varying schedules that include evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours as business dictates.
Education & Experience:
- 8 th grade education or equivalent experience required.
- 6 months of experience working in a bar environment
