The Role:
This is a fresh and explosive area of the business and we are looking for a Director of Cybersecurity Education Solutions to help evangelize the value of our education and training services. You will serve as a strategic consultant, engaging with C-Level & Executive Leaders of enterprise organizations throughout the US, building long-term relationships and providing thought leadership, industry knowledge and expertise. Your efforts will be instrumental in the continued growth and success of CyberEd as you educate customers on the value of shifting corporate culture towards security competence.
The Director of Cybersecurity Education Solutions will be responsible for establishing and maintaining consultative relationships with clients, discussing their needs and specific organizational marketing challenges they are facing, and highlighting how CyberEd can accommodate and assist through our advanced and customized solution. As an industry and market expert, you’ll continuously strategize ways to persist and perform as you consistently analyze your assigned account territory. You’ll be expected to meet projected revenue goals by identifying and acquiring new business along with potential growth opportunities for existing customers.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Identify and acquire new clients through diligent and targeted outreach via cold call/email.
- Leverage existing industry relationships at the enterprise level and with vendors to acquire new business and promote our brand story.
- Analyze territory to assess market potential and maximize opportunities and revenue growth.
- Present, promote, and close using solid arguments and value delivery to prospective and existing clients.
- Expedite the resolution of client needs, problems, and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members and cross functional departments, coordinating sales efforts.
- Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly status updates tracking sales and opportunity pipelines.
- Supply management with reports on client needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new and existing offerings.
- Develop a high-level understanding of CyberEd's offerings and strong base level knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape to elevate prospecting communication with clients.
- Create and pitch proposals which include media plans, content, and creative services.
- Generate RFP opportunities through meetings and constant correspondence.
- Guide full campaign process including generating agreements, leading kickoff calls, and providing client support from beginning to end of each campaign engagement.
- In some instances, client account management will be required.
What You'll Bring for Success:
- Bachelors or Masters (preferred) degree in related fields.
- 8 to 10 years of field Sales experience managing and driving complex, enterprise level sales campaigns.
- Strong relationship building skills with intellectual and experiential credentials necessary to establish trust and facilitate engagements that lead to customer confidence.
- Transactional sales experience is not relevant.
- 5 years of cybersecurity experience in engineering, delivery, sales, or marketing.
- Current knowledge of the cybersecurity space to a degree which allows you to confidently discuss issues related to technology and human solutions, future directions, threats, and capabilities with senior decision makers at both enterprise and vendor organizations.
- Proven experience as an individual contributor within a B2B sales environment closing mainly new business.
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in meeting sales quotas.
- Sales methodology experience (MEDDIC/Challenger/Value Selling or other formal processes.)
- Ability to create and deliver high level presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and CRM practices.
- Strong knowledge of the evolving B2B digital marketing landscape as it pertains to enterprise level organizations as well as start-ups is a plus.
