About the Israeli-American Council:
The mission of the IAC is to build an engaged and united Israeli-American community that strengthens the Israeli and Jewish identities of our next generations, the Jewish American community and the bond between the people of the United States and the State of Israel.
Job Purpose:
The IAC is seeking for an IAC Eitanim Facilitator that will facilitate the sessions including leading teen sessions, planning, adjusting, connecting with parents, communicating with teens and maintain a WhatsApp group with them.The IAC Eitanim Facilitator will report to the IAC NJ Regional Director.
Duties include and are not limited to:
- Lead content delivery, implementation, and quality of Eitanim programs, sessions, and Eitanim-related and led community events.
- Facilitate all program’s sessions including keeping attendance records & post-session summaries.
- Assist in coordinating with guest experts, Judges, and mentor’s preparations.
- Send follow-up tasks to the group.
- Submit session reviews and feedback to Eitanim National Director.
- Must participate in all IAC Eitanim National events and staff training including but not limited to the year opening training, national facilitators forum meetings and ongoing training, National Hackathon, and IAC’s National Summit Eitanim Track.
- Work closely with the regional team to insure the successful execution of the program.
- Represent the IAC in a professional manner.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Knowledge in the Project Based Learning Method.
- Creative, Energetic and Proactive.
- Experience working with teens.
- Strong connection to both Israeli and American identities.
- Strong social skills and experience working with teens.
- Flexible hours - work in the mornings (as needed) and participate in the sessions in the evenings (varies between 1-3 evenings per week between 7-9:30pm, depending on the week) and as needed for IAC Eitanim meetings, regional activities, and seminars.
- Experience in the Israeli and/or Jewish sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite products and social networking tools.
- Highly efficient and organized.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good operational and administrative management skills.
- Proficiency in Hebrew and English (Speaking, reading, writing).
Salary : $23 - $30
