Contract to Hire
Responsibilities :
Work closely with various internal teams to create customized solutions tailored to the specific requirements of each department.
Proactively identify and resolve issues that could affect the operational efficiency or stability of services.
Offer ongoing support and maintenance for the applications and services developed.
Participate in change management and incident resolution processes as needed.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements, ensuring the delivered solutions provide the highest possible value.
Qualifications :
7 years of direct experience in Java software development, with a solid background in computer science principles.
Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and Python is advantageous.
Experience with API integrations and Object Mapping.
Familiarity with Eclipse or similar integrated development environments (IDEs).
Hands-on experience with frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot, and build tools like Maven.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps practices, particularly with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
Expertise in J2EE development (Java 8 or higher), including working with Java packages such as core, JDBC, Swing, messaging, multi-threading, I / O, and unit testing. Experience with troubleshooting Java performance is a plus.
Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and database design, including indexing. Experience with database performance troubleshooting is a bonus.
Experience with Linux systems, including command-line tools for diagnosing and resolving issues. Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash is a plus.
Familiarity with CI / CD pipeline tools such as Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, crontab, and AutoSys. Experience with installation and deployment of these tools is advantageous.
Excellent coding skills with a focus on clean, maintainable code. Understanding of design patterns is beneficial.
Additional Information :
The anticipated hourly rate range for this position is ($55-$70). Actual hourly rate will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. A range of medical, dental, retirement, and / or other benefits are available after a waiting period.
