What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Help Desk Technician position at IT Guys LLC?

IT consulting firm is seeking a Full-Time, onsite, IT Help Desk Technician for a full time position. You will work on-site to resolve computer-related Hardware/Software issues for our clients.
This position is standard business hours on-site working in a team-based work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote and on-site technical support for customers
  • Resolve and escalate issues for customers via phone and email
  • Resolve network, pc, and software issues
  • Track customer issues and resolutions through use of a ticketing system
  • Provide accurate and concise answers to general use and administrative environment questions in a polite and professional manner
  • Read, comprehend and follow technical service manuals and guides.
  • Manage and report time spent on all work activities.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and improving technical skills.

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree and/or 2 years of IT Support experience or IT customer service related experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relations with customers and Help Desk team
  • Experience in the computer industry supporting customers
  • Strong IT troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Help Desk Ticketing System experience desired
  • A , Network , and/or MCSE certification desired
  • Seeking candidates who are positive, professional and dependable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31,200.00 - $52,000.00 per year
