Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Rental Agent to join our team. As a Rental Agent, you will be the first point of contact for clients, helping them select the right equipment for their events, preparing rental agreements, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring every rental experience is smooth and successful.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email
- Recommend rental equipment based on event needs and inventory availability
- Prepare accurate rental quotes, contracts, and invoices
- Schedule equipment deliveries, pickups, and optional setup services
- Answer questions about inventory, pricing, availability, and policies
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for order fulfillment
- Process payments, deposits, and rental agreements
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and rental details
- Ensure a clean, organized, and customer-ready showroom
- Promote additional services (e.g., set-up/breakdown, helium tanks)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree a plus)
- 1 years of customer service, retail, or rental experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with basic computer systems, email, and point-of-sale software
- Positive attitude, team player, and a genuine desire to help others
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Compensation:
$16 – $20 per hour, based on experience
( $41,000 annually for full-time roles)
