Position Title: Service Technician
Reports To: Branch Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Type: Regular full-time
General Summary
Perform flooring repair projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
Essential Job Functions
- Complete flooring repair job according to work order provided.
- Ensure installation quality and accuracy of installed materials.
- Adhere to jobsite safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience setting tile, including tile punchout experience.
- Carpet and/or wood flooring punchout experience a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of stone and marble is a plus but not required.
Other Requirements
- This role would require the ability to lift, push, and/or pull loads in excess of 50 lb.
- This role would require the ability to kneel, crouch, stoop, crawl for extended periods.
- This role would require the ability to use hands to handle and/or control tools for extended periods.
- Fundamental mathematical comprehension required.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines required.
- Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle available for company use required. (Auto allowance and/or gas card to be provided.)
- Travel required: daily travel required.
