Position Description: Responsible for multiple-use management on tax forfeited lands within a forest district. Responsibilities include implementing land management plan and annual prescribed harvest goals for the district; timber sale development and administration; incorporating silvicultural, social and ecological information into forest management prescriptions; forest inventory and stand development; public relations and coordination; forest access road management; wildlife habitat projects, recreational coordination and real estate needs within an assigned district.To view the job description, click here

Work Hours: The normal hours of work shall be 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, overtime as necessary and approved.
Work Location: Itasca County Land Department, 1177 LaPrairie Ave, Grand Rapids, MN and County-wide on field projects.
Salary : $54,600 - $73,029
