They are responsible for software/hardware installations, upgrades, patch management, and maintaining LAN/WAN architectures.

Required Skills And Experience
- Four (4) years of system management experience
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols, and tools including LAN/WAN architecture, TCP/IP, and OSI model concepts.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and virtual machine management.
- Proficiency with server and client operating systems (Windows/Linux) and OS command-line utilities.
- Knowledge of IT security principles such as firewalls, DMZs, and system hardening techniques.
- Knowledge of data security standards and policies.
- Expertise in system diagnostic and maintenance procedures.
- Experience with remote access technologies and VPN security.
- Knowledge of wireless transmission protocols and jamming techniques (Bluetooth, RFID, IR, Wi-Fi, etc.)
- Experience with cloud computing deployment models (public, private, hybrid) and migrating workloads between them.

- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.

- Prior experience supporting geographically dispersed Navy or DoD enterprise networks
