Job Description
The University Relations Specialist will report to the University Relations Manager within the Human Resources department and will include the following responsibilities:
· Assist with registering employees for events, coaching attendees, and distributing event materials at events
· Help facilitate the appropriate diverse selection of recruiters/team members attending Career Fairs/Campus Events
· Partner with the Talent Acquisition Team to ensure attendees have all the necessary events information
· Update and manage career fair and events tracker and internal campus recruiting landing page
· Research, identify, develop and maintain relationships with career service representatives, diverse on campus student groups, faculty and other key stakeholders.
· Plan and execute campus events for recruitment and relationship building (i.e.,information sessions, resume review, mock interviewing, etc.)
· Assist with developing and maintaining outreach communications for newly identified university and external partners (i.e., career service representatives, key faculty, club leaders and other key stakeholders, diversity organizations)
· Research, identify, develop and maintain relationships with external campus organizations and partners keeping diversity and inclusion top of mind
· Assist with compiling the year-end results summary to HR leadership
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree
· 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in campus recruitment or program coordinator
· Strong attention to detail; very organized
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work independently and with a team
· Ability to plan and organize effectively
· Knowledge of Google and Microsoft applications
