iVision Consulting is seeking a PMO Support Lead to support a cybersecurity office within a federal Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) organization. The PMO Support Lead will assist the OCIO in driving efficient, effective program and project management practices for strategic IT and cybersecurity initiatives. Guided by the agency’s internal project management methodology, the PMO Support Lead develops and matures enterprise-wide processes, tools, and reporting structures that ensure transparency, accountability, and alignment with federal mandates. The PMO Support Lead will support a wide range of responsibilities including performance management, project coordination, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, documentation, data analytics, and executive reporting.

What You Will Do:
- Lead coordination, monthly reporting, and general project management activities supporting IT and cybersecurity investments and compliance in accordance with agency’s project management methodology.
- Support IT investment management through Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Maintain and update risk and issue logs, ensuring effective risk management and compliance with federal mandates such as FISMA and FITARA.
- Develop, apply, and maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting processes using tools like Power BI, SharePoint, and ServiceNow.
- Manage all POE communications, documentation, meeting agendas, minutes, and maintain collaboration sites to ensure transparency and timely information sharing.
- Coordinate regular status meetings, track action items and problems, and provide weekly or bi-weekly status reports to stakeholders.
- Facilitate executive support including briefing materials, talking points, and strategic and tactical planning to inform leadership decision-making.
- Develop and maintain training materials and program guides ensuring compliance with 508 accessibility standards.
- Oversee project schedules, milestone tracking, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for technical solutions supporting program execution.
- Support the creation and maintenance of governance bodies such as the Investment Review Board (IRB), including meeting planning, documentation, and charter management.
What You Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of consulting experience supporting federal CIO organizations, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity programs and initiatives.
- Minimum of 5 years of responsible experience leading or supporting a Project Management Office (PMO), including overseeing project governance, risk management, resource coordination, and reporting.
- Proven ability to manage complex cybersecurity projects, ensuring alignment with federal regulations, compliance mandates (such as FISMA and FITARA), and organizational strategic goals.
- Strong leadership skills with experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration between technical teams, executive leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex technical information into clear, concise reports and briefings for diverse audiences including senior leadership.
- Experience utilizing project management and reporting tools such as Power BI, SharePoint, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Project to track project status, risks, and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, best practices, and federal IT project lifecycle methodologies.
- Ability to develop and maintain program documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials to support continuous process improvement within the PMO.
Nice To Have:
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of federal cybersecurity policies and regulations beyond FISMA and FITARA, such as NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP, or CMMC.
- Background in change management and organizational development within federal IT environments.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards such as Section 508 compliance for documentation and training materials.
Salary:
$140,000 - $155,000 annual salary
Work Location:
This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of three days per week on-site at the client location in Washington, DC. The remaining work may be performed remotely, subject to project requirements and client approval.
