Landscape Design Build Project Manager
Ivy Studio specializes in the thoughtful design & construction management of luxury residential outdoor landscape spaces across eastern Massachusetts. We are seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented project manager with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience to join our tight-knit company. We are a fast-paced, growing organization so the candidate should be a self-starter willing to multi-task and take immediate ownership & personal pride on assigned projects. Given the smaller size of our firm, this candidate will be expected to take a forward leading role and overall will have an immediate leadership impact in shaping our company into the future.

Description:
All work is built from engineered and architectural sets of plans. Ability to read plans & details a must. Flexibility to modify or offer insight towards needed field changes under direction of lead designer. Creativity to value engineer details to be cost efficient while achieving design intent and maintaining quality standards of constructability.
The knowledge to be able to run a project start to finish is a must. We are looking for this manager to be experienced in executing all phases of site/pool/masonry & landscape construction & well-versed in communicating routinely & tactfully with clients, subcontractors & vendors.
Individual will work closely with Project Administrator to ensure proper buyouts, jobsite startup, invoice & payables, materials sourcing/delivery & general office administration as it relates to assigned projects.
Positive, courteous & continuous communication with Clients is a must. This individual will be expected to stay on top of assigned jobsites while providing progress updates regularly. Role will switch between "boots on the ground" in site management to quiet/independent office work at our nicely appointed commercial studio.
Our current projects range in value from $400,000 - $3,000,000 and experience on similar sized scopes is required. This role requires the ability to effectively multi-task often managing aggressive demands for 2-3 projects simultaneously, while keeping each project on schedule & budget.
Experience & Skillset:
Required experience/background in any or all of site disciplines: Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, Light-Duty Building, Civil, Masonry, Swimming Pool Construction, Horticulture, Irrigation & Lighting. Experience running projects with budgets ranging from $500k-$4M
Preferred background as a Project Manager or in an operational capacity within the high-end/luxury residential New England market.
College degree (BS/MS) in Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, Landscape Construction or Horticulture. Relevant experience highly considered in Lieu of higher education.
Familiar with AIA Billing Format and written Change Orders & budget tracking for active projects. Cost Estimating experience required.
Very Technically competent to quickly learn company software system. Ability to transition between desktop & mobile applications. MS suite, Builder trend, AutoCAD.
Strong communication skills: ability to speak directly & confidently with Clients & tradespeople along with an understanding of design language.
Well versed in construction code compliance, general knowledge of wetlands permitting & Town procedures as it relates to building & zoning permitting.

IVY offers competitive salary and benefits:
Pay: $120,000 per year PLUS Generous Individual performance-based Bonus & Profit Sharing. Industry experience and relevant education are factors in determining base salary.
