What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Deliveries – Contract Carrier Opportunity position at J.B. Hunt?
** This opportunity is for established independent contractors with an active DOT & MC authority only. **
J.B. Hunt is expanding our Final Mile Services home delivery carrier force. We are looking for carriers that are interested in contracting with us to deliver and install appliances, fitness equipment and furniture.
- $600-$750 average daily rate*
- Monday-Saturday work week
- 7-day payment terms
- Established customer base with consistent routes
- Access to third-party discounts for truck rental, fuel and tools
- Access to nationwide accounts
Carrier Requirements Include:
- Active US DOT & MC numbers
- Previous home delivery (white glove) experience
- Previous furniture delivery, appliance delivery and installation experience
- 26’ box truck (truck equipped with liftgate is a plus)
