Overview

As an Internal Auditor, you will have the opportunity to lead audit engagements for a national publicly traded company across a variety of areas including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), financial, compliance, and technology. Your main responsibilities will be identifying and assessing risks, coordinating internal control testing over key financial statement processes, and concluding on the results of testing. This position could be based in Quincy, MA or Tilton, NH.

Responsibilities

• Partners with business colleagues to test internal controls across SOX relevant areas and coordinates with external auditors as needed.
• Performs audits to evaluate conformance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policy.
• Supports inventory observation procedures nationally across retail and distribution locations.
• Assists in other departmental objectives such as privacy requests and cyber security third party reviews.
• Responds to fulfilling other responsibilities as they arise.
• Travels potentially 1% to 5% annually.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Effective verbal and written communications, including active listening and presentation skills.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with key business contacts, consultants, and external contacts.
• Knowledge of GAAP and SOX requirements.
• 0-2 years experience as an internal or external auditor or experience in the retail industry is a plus.
• CPA, CIA, or comparable certifications are a plus.

Salary Range : USD $50,400.00/Yr. - USD $65,000.00/Yr.
