Position Summary
Project Manager is directly responsible for the overall success of the project. Primary focus will be on contract management, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and customer service.
Job Specifications
- Ability to read and understand Contract Drawings and Specifications
- Experience drafting subcontractor scopes or work
- Contract negotiations
- Logical and organized approach to completing tasks and solving problems
- Full understanding of all Divisions of work
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Ability to forge relationships with client base
- Ability to create, manage, and update project Schedule using industry software
- Successful track record managing projects greater than $5M
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.
- Professional Engineering License preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of project management experience on commercial construction projects, with at least 5 years in the Project Manager role.
- Software proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/Navisworks, On-Screen Takeoff, Procore, P6 and/or Asta Power Project preferred.
- Must have strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills and the ability to present information to supervisors, groups of clients, top management, or team.
