Summary/Objective

The Epicor Engineer I analyzes and transfers customer and engineering information into the production system to
enable manufacturing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between sales, engineering, and production
• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to develop shop routings
• Prepare critical production documents for job packets
• Process Level 1 jobs and replacement part orders
• Cross trains in other materials departments such as purchasing, inventory, etc.
• Completes other jobs or duties as directed by the Materials Manager

Qualifications

• Education and Experience
  • Previous experience in manufacturing facility working with blue prints and shop routing documents
    (machining, assembly, other production positions) preferred, but not required
  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
  • Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of
    education and experience, preferred but not required
• Technology
  • Windows PC proficiency
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous ERP system experience a plus. Epicor ERP experience preferred
• Knowledge
  • Steel Manufacturing Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes,
    quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of
    goods
  • Mechanical - Knowledge of relevant machines and tools
  • Mathematics - Basic knowledge of arithmetic and geometry, and their applications
