Summary
The Service Porter will assist with a variety of duties in our service and parts departments. This is a part time position with evening and Saturday availability required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist Service Advisors with managing the flow of customer traffic for the general service area
Clean interior and exterior of vehicles, Fuel vehicles as needed.
Moving and parking vehicles, delivering vehicles to correct locations or picking owners or drivers up if needed.
Serve as shuttle driver and parts delivery driver as needed.
Maintaining cleanliness of service drive thru and shop area as well as parking lots and dealership property.
General snow removal during outbreaks of inclement weather
Stock and replenish supplies as needed.
Other Duties
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Ability to drive all types of vehicles including manual transmission.
Physical Demands
This is a physically demanding position. May stand 6-8 hours per shift. S/he will bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and feel. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, paint, cleaning solutions, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Will lift up to 50 lbs throughout shift. Will work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
