Key Responsibilities
- Provide routine check-ups, vaccinations, and health screenings for patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including but not limited to respiratory infections, skin conditions, and gastrointestinal issues
- Manage medications, including prescribing, monitoring side effects, and adjusting dosages as needed
- Order laboratory tests and interpret results
- Counsel patients on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and management
The successful family physician will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with rotating specialties. They will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine certification
- Active Virginia medical license (or willingness to obtain)
- BLS certification
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Salary : $150,000 - $250,000
