Grade: 200

Salary: $24.71/hour

Job Duties:

• Responsible for providing support and service to law enforcement and detention center personnel regarding use of Law Enforcement and Detention Technology, i.e. electronic access control systems, including IP and PLC-based systems, video surveillance systems, radio communications systems, in-car and body-worn video cameras and systems, and law enforcement and detention-related software applications such as Records and Jail Management Systems, Inmate Tracking Systems, and Computer Aided Dispatch Systems.
• Provides initial review of support tickets submitted by law enforcement and detention center personnel and forwards to the Jackson County IT Department or outside vendor as appropriate

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or five years’ experience.
• Must have a valid Driver License and provide his/her own transportation.
• The associate is provided mobile devices including phone and laptop and is required to be on call outside of working hours for emergency support requirements.
• Must submit to/pass a police background and drug screen.
