TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Exempt; 10 Month; 1 year position Beginning August 2024- May 2025; Full Time Time 40hr/wk;
Position is contingent upon the award of grant funding by October 2024 with a potential start date of August 5th 2024.

SALARY: Salary Scale MH 14-16; compensation will be determined by the candidate's education level and/or years of experience
DESCRIPTION: Under direction of district administration and within the scope of the license, provides supportive and direct mental health services to students and families. Provides assessment, diagnostic, counseling, and psychotherapeutic treatment services to students. May provide educational consultation services to other school staff, community agencies, and the public. Support the district implementation of Social Emotional Learning and School Mental Health policy. Work collaboratively with Specialized Instructional Support Personnel to provide a full continuum of behavioral/mental health support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters level license eligible
- Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
- Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A)
- Licensed Psychologist (LP)
- Licensed Psychology Assoc. (LPA))
- Two (2) years clinical therapy experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preference will be given to bilingual applicants, and applicants with training and experience working with children ages 0-5
DUTIES:
- Provide crisis intervention services
- conduct reliable and valid comprehensive clinical evaluations and clinical intake assessments
- develop/monitor individual treatment plans
- identifying student needs and linking to resources
- providing individual, group, and family therapy
- documenting services and submitting data for reimbursement
- writing clinical reports
- other duties as assigned
