What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper - FT position at Jackson Hospital and Clinic?
Maintains and cares for hospital grounds and performs other general maintenance duties as required.
Qualifications:
High School, GED, and/or Vocational training. Two years grounds keeping experience at a major business or facility. Push and; power mowers, blowers, tractor, trimmers, shovel, hoe, ax, pick, hammer, edger, sprayer, week eaters, tillers, aerators, spreaders, insecticides, fertilizers. Mixing of insecticides, fertilizers, seed, and plant pruning, minor repair and adjustments to grounds care equipment. Involves lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Climbs, balances, stoops, kneel and crouches to complete necessary tasks. Stands and walks. Reaches for and handles tools and equipment parts; visual acuity for reading blueprints and specifications.
