What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN New Graduate Residency position at JACKSON HOSPITAL AND CLINIC?
The Nurse Residency Program is an evidence-based, yearlong program that includes an assigned preceptor with unit orientation, an assigned mentor and classes to cover topics related to clinical and professional development. The program will begin after a week of General Orientation.
You have the opportunity to job shadow in areas before interviewing and accepting a RN position.
The following service lines have open positions for new graduate RN's:
- Med/Surg (Ortho, Neuro,general Med/Surg,Oncology,Urology)
- Critical Care Units
- Emergency Department
- Step Down Units
- Peri-Op Areas(Surgery, Out Patient, Endoscopy, PACU)
- Women's Services (may be limited)
