Position Summary :
Central Scheduling is a trained technical employee. The duties of the job include scheduling all procedures and treatments for a population ranging from newborn to the geriatric patient.
There will be effective interaction with physicians and their office staff, the general public and the hospital departments in the scheduling of procedures.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent - required
Two years of college preferred
Required Skills
Requires critical thinks skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Clinical background and medical terminology required.
