What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser position at Jackson's Bistro?
Jackson's Bistro is a high-volume restaurant seeking energetic bussers to become part of the Jackson's team. This job is a critical part of creating a positive guest experience so they will come back again and again! You're the person who makes sure the restaurant is clean, safe and sanitized, always looks tip-top and ensures the guests get seated efficiently by having the tables cleaned and ready to go with silverware. As tables turnover from one party to the next, you're the go-to person who will assist the host, servers, and managers in keeping the dining room sanitized and spotless.
Responsibilities
- Great all guests with warmth and enthusiasm. Be attentive to their needs while they are with us.
- Practice safety standards and report all unsafe conditions to management.
- Keep your work area well organized, well stocked, and clean in order to provide fast, impeccable, attentive, unobtrusive and courteous service to our guests.
- To continuously strive to give the best service.
- Comply with company policy regarding scheduling, uniform, absenteeism and tardiness
- Perform all other reasonable tasks required by management.
- Complete all set-up duties on time according to procedures.
- Set and re-set tables following standard procedure.
- Perform side work duties as assigned. Keep work area neat and clean
- Clear tables following established procedures.
- Communicate all guest compliments and/or complaints to the manager as soon as possible so that proper action, if any, can be taken.
