Busy Gulf Breeze Chiropractic office seeking mature, energetic and friendly Full or Part Time Chiropractic Assistant. Will be trained in all aspects of the office initially and based on performance, advance to the Front Desk Area.
Job responsibilities including scheduling patients, verifying benefits, handling payments, selling supplements, managing various insurance contracts, among other typical receptionist duties. Cross training to include administering therapies (ultrasound, electric stimulation), cleaning duties (including bathrooms), filing and laundry. Applicant must have neat and professional appearance and have an empathetic personality. Must work well with a team environment. Have proper phone etiquette, be self motivated, able to multi-task in a fast pace environment and be comfortable with hands-on patient care. Our office is a wellness center, so the applicant must be drug and nicotine free and have a clean criminal record. Cell phones are not permitted on the floor during work hours. Job entails 4 day, 10 hour shifts, mornings and evenings. Will be required to stand for long periods of time. Strong work ethic necessary. No weekends required. Pay based on experience. Chiropractic or Medical Office experience preferred.
