We are looking for a UX Design Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in user-centered design. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates eager to apply their skills in wireframing, prototyping, user research, and usability testing. You will collaborate with experienced designers and cross-functional teams to create engaging, intuitive experiences. You'll participate in user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather data on user needs and preferences, Participate in user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather data on user needs and preferences, Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize design ideas and iterate on designs, Assist in organizing and structuring information within digital products through information architecture.
You'll also contribute to design system development and ensure consistency across products, support usability testing and analyze feedback to refine designs., Work closely with designers, developers, and other team members to ensure designs meet user needs and business goals and maintain design documentation, including user flows, style guides, and other relevant materials.

The base salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $60,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Here's what you'll need
- In persuit of a Bachelors degree in UX Design, Human- Computer Interaction, Computer science, Data Analytics, Software design or related Field
- Must be able to work in a Jacobs office two days a week
- United States Citizenship Required
- Basic Understanding of UX Principles Familiarity with core UX concepts like user research, information architecture, and design thinking
- Design Software Proficiency Experience with wireframing in Figma
- Strong Communication Skills Ability to effectively communicate design ideas, receive and incorporate feedback
- Creativity and Problem-Solving Ability to generate new ideas and find solutions to design challenges
- Organizational Skills Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
