Laborer/Operator/Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Laborer and Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a driver's license - preferably a Class A or Class B with tanker and air brake endorsements - Experience driving bigger trucks and/or tanker trucks.

The Laborer position will assist the pump truck driver, but also be able to drive the service truck and work independently once trained.

The Driver position will be driving the pump truck which requires a Class A or Class B license with endorsements.

Duties (Depending on position)

• Safely operate a box truck (regular driver's license) or the pumper/tanker truck (Class A or B license)
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Jobs will entail pumping septic tanks, diagnosing septic problems, working on septic pumps, digging, using sewer camera and locator, snaking underground lines, plumbing, etc. ​
• Maintain accurate records of job details, gallons pumped,including doing invoices/receiving payments, mileage, fuel usage etc.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedule, jobs and any potential ISSUES
• Machine Operator Experience Preferred

Experience

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Class A or B preferred.
• Previous experience as a driver or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with septic systems, plumbing, pumps, preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, dispatchers, and colleagues effectively.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
