The Advanced Center for Psychotherapy is a medical group practice located in Jamaica, NY. We specialize in providing a wide range of therapeutic Social Work, Counseling, and Psychiatry services. Our professional staff consists of licensed and certified psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other trained mental health professionals.
We are currently seeking Psychotherapist / Licensed Social Workers for immediate full-time opportunities. Positions are in our Jamaica Estates Location.
SELECTED CANDIDATE WILL:
Conduct initial psychosocial assessments.
Provide therapeutic treatments and interventions.
Participate with treatment team, family, and community stakeholders to advocate and ensure patient support systems.
Provide individual, family, and group counseling services as needed.
Develop and coordinate patient treatment plans; and coordinate discharge plans when applicable.
Collaborate and participate in interdisciplinary processes with health care providers.
