Jamaica Hospital Medical Center a member of the Medisys Health Network is a 404-bed fully accredited community-based teaching hospital and Level I Trauma and Stroke Center . We provide general medical, pediatric, and psychiatric emergency services, ambulatory care on and off campus, ambulatory surgery, and a broad spectrum of diagnostic and treatment services.
We are currently seeking a full-time Staffing Associate for an immediate overnight shift opportunity in our busy Emergency Room Department .
DUTIES
- Responsible for the staffing applications of the Automated Nurse Staffing Office System (ANSOS), payroll processing, and related clerical duties in the Nursing Office.
- Scheduling and preparing staff schedules for all Nursing units.
- Performing data management, data entry, and communications between Nursing units, Payroll, Quality Management, and outside agencies.
- Monitoring and assuring timely notification of staff of pending renewal dates for license, certification, and other credentials.
- Procuring and assigning Contingent / Temp staff and Outside personnel to patient care units as needed.
- Coordinating payroll functions to ensure accuracy and timely compensation to employees
- Utilizing KRONOS system to input, update and retrieve information and reports.
