PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION 

The Commercial Processor will assist our Commercial Account Management teams. This role is a support position with an emphasis on servicing our clients. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Process day-to-day certificates
  • Send renewal certificates to carriers
  • Pull loss runs and prepare loss summaries
  • Pull policy forms from carrier sites
  • Pull flood zones
  • Process basic flood renewals
  • SIS work comp policies (renewals/audits/endorsements)
  • Data entry or data review projects (export and import risks)
  • Other miscellaneous projects as assigned

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS   

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with limited supervision and to make decisions quickly
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to develop relationships and effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Strong computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Experience within the insurance industry is preferred, but not required
