PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION
The Commercial Processor will assist our Commercial Account Management teams. This role is a support position with an emphasis on servicing our clients.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process day-to-day certificates
- Send renewal certificates to carriers
- Pull loss runs and prepare loss summaries
- Pull policy forms from carrier sites
- Pull flood zones
- Process basic flood renewals
- SIS work comp policies (renewals/audits/endorsements)
- Data entry or data review projects (export and import risks)
- Other miscellaneous projects as assigned
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with limited supervision and to make decisions quickly
- Strong organization skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to develop relationships and effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Strong computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Experience within the insurance industry is preferred, but not required
