Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney with experience in corporate, estate planning, transactional, and/or intellectual property law to join our team. As an Associate Attorney at James River Law, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging and rewarding legal matters while contributing to our firm's continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in corporate, transactional, and intellectual property matters.
- Estate planning and succession planning
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
- Uphold the firm's values of integrity, excellence, and kindness in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in Virginia is required. Licensure in Washington D.C. or New York is a plus, but not required.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in corporate, estate planning, transactional, and/or intellectual property law.
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
