What are the responsibilities and job description for the Journeyman Fabricator position at Janicki Industries?
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Fabricator for our Sedro Woolley, WA location. This role is required to have a proficient level competency in Metal Fabrication to exacting specifications and have demonstrated mechanical knowledge. Applicants with 6 years of experience in various types of weld preparation, such as welding and fabrication of weldments, including cutting, grinding and finish welding operations should apply.
The following essential job functions are performed in this welding role:
- Attention to detail and quality is required.
- Reads and understands blueprints, isometric drawings and work orders.
- Identifies and obtains equipment, tools and materials needed to properly perform job function.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly, FOD free condition.
Job Duties May Include:
- Metrology, part leveling, fixturing, equipment handling, laser tracker, radar and targeting as well as Spatial Analyzer Operation.
- Expert Competency in Metal Fabrication to exacting specifications and drawings.
- Janicki Certified, Overhead Crane, Forklift and Manlift Operation.
QUALIFICATIONS
