Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for a Shuttle Bus Driver to join our growing team.
This part-time position will be approximatley 20 hours per week.
This position is located on-site in Hamilton, Washington State.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Janicki Industries is looking to add to their transportation team. New grads are welcome to apply! In this role, you will have a consistent daily schedule with driving being local.
A clean driving record is required for this position.
The following essential job functions are performed for Shuttle Bus Driver:
- Collating and editing transport schedules based on passengers' needs.
- Arriving at collection points prior to departure times.
- Ensuring adherence to passenger limits, both seated and standing.
- Avoiding high-traffic and accident-prone routes, where possible.
- Recording and reporting all accidents and incidents to your supervisor.
- Checking that passengers disembark at the correct destinations, and in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that the shuttle bus is fueled, well-maintained, and presentable at all times.
- Observing all relevant traffic and safety laws
- The list of essential job functions is not intended to be all inclusive and the incumbent will be expected to perform other duties as assigned. The incumbent must work well under pressure, meeting completing multiple deadlines. The incumbent shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
- Being at work on time and maintaining good attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.
QUALIFICATIONS
Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Candidate must be safety oriented, mechanically inclined, & computer literate.
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
- Basic personal computer skills with the ability to learn and use new software systems.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Wage range for this role is between $20 - $25 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
