Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Inventory Lead
to oversee daily inventory operations and ensure full compliance with Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) regulations. This hands-on role supervises the Inventory Associate team, maintains stock accuracy, and supports overall store operations. The Inventory Lead plays a critical role in keeping our back-of-house organized, compliant, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate Inventory Associates to meet daily operational goals
- Receive, sticker, and stock all products in compliance with state regulations and FIFO standards
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to store leadership
- Conduct daily cycle counts and lead monthly audits to ensure accuracy
- Maintain clean, organized stockroom and receiving areas
- Train Inventory Associates on compliance, processes, and inventory systems
- Document and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Collaborate with store departments to manage stock flow to the sales floor
- Process returns and ensure product availability within target timeframes
- Uphold all ADHS cannabis regulations during inventory activities
- Support merchandising and restocking efforts
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Store Manager
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age
- Valid Arizona Facility Agent Card required
- At least 1 year of inventory experience; cannabis industry preferred
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours
- Experience with inventory management software and systems
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
