What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital/Social Media Coordinator position at Jasper Paul PR & Marketing?
This individual will work with our Digital Manager and the PR account teams to execute strategic goals for clients' social media profiles for 8-10 clients. This person’s primary role is to serve as the day-to-day client contact, bring creative campaigns to the Digital Manager to drive strategy, as well as draft the copy in the client voice and tone. This person will work alongside a Digital Admin, who will assist on their accounts to create the content as well as do the initial reporting and daily management for a majority of the accounts.
This individual should have 2-3 years of agency social media experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the day-to-day account lead for 8-10 accounts
- Strategically align content with clients' goals with creative ideas, strong copywriting in the clients' voice, etc.
- Ability to read analytics and apply strategies to meet analytic goals
- Ability to project manage a content shoot to capture video and photography
- Content creation for both photography as well as reels (this will still be required from time to time)
As a Coordinator, this individual will be expected to fulfill the Admin requirements of a Digital Admin on 3 accounts, but their primary role will be in: client services, copywriting, and strategic ideation.
Client Services: As the client lead, you will be expected to be checking in with the client on a frequent basis, such as:
- Sending over weekly content for approval
- Sharing wins of posts as well as communicate any concerns
- Asking about the success of campaigns, contests, etc.
- Sending over monthly mapping emails, explaining our strategy and thought process
- Sending monthly reports and recaps about analytics to the client
- Leading client agenda meetings and presenting ideas
- Leading client content shoots as a project manager
Strategic Content Creation:
- With assistance from Digital Admins, Digital Coordinators' primarily roles will be to develop strategic copy and ideation for 8-10 accounts across platforms (platform execution dependent on the client - Facebook, Instagram and sometimes Twitter or TikTok)
- Monthly Mapping to align the below is completed by mid-month of the month prior This requires:
- Acute understanding of client content buckets, key messages, and voice
- Development of creative copy that engages audiences with a strong CTA and aligns with the brand’s voice
- Insights & direction to DA on content (video, photos, etc.) that will be engaging, creative and impactful
- Execution of growth strategies (creative storytelling, trends, creative contests, etc.) in monthly mapping
- Digital Coordinators will also assist with the initial drafting of creative for social ad needs in the following ways:
- Propose the objectives and spend for monthly ads for Digital Manager to approve
- Draft the copy around approved ad strategies and build out objectives and spend for Digital Manager to approve and launch on the 1st of the month.
- You will be responsible for the initial mapping of shot list for monthly shoots after content shoots and pulling suggested visuals to capture on-site with a photographer or the content team
