Required Qualifications:
- Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 2 years of direct care experience in long-term, restorative, or geriatric settings as an RN.
- At least 1 year of nursing management experience and a current CPR certification.
- Meets all state licensing requirements with no disciplinary actions.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Unit Management: Plan, organize, and direct nursing services while ensuring compliance with regulations and facility policies.
- Leadership and Development: Make staffing assignments, encourage professional development, and review documentation for quality and accuracy.
- Resident Care Coordination: Oversee resident assessments, ensure adequate supplies, and address grievances with timely reporting to the Director of Nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
- A Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- Current CPR certification.
- Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
