Job Summary: Provides support to both internal and external customers and team; coordinates field & computer take off measures; purchasing support; sales calls, contract negotiations and general commercial jobsite support services.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet, greet, and talk with customers and potential clients.
  • Communicating with all relevant people and departments (sales, operations, management) and coordinating all relevant inputs for scheduling.
  • Helps maintain current customer base through customer service and quality of product and help obtain possible new customer base generating sales.
  • Works directly with estimating department to generate timely bids and accurate proposals and takeoffs of commercial projects.
  • Receive & verify PO’s & ITB’s & RFI’s from builders or general contractors.
  • Provide oversight on products being utilized from ITB’s and specs. Assist in selecting new items added to the flooring program as needed.
  • Process job files, generate selection sheets & cut sheets for internal processing and prepare job folders for ordering.
  • Coordinate job field and computer take off measures. Review of field measurements by providing oversight.
  • Coordinate inspections with Operations Manager and provide additional job site support on inspections as needed for Sales staff and special projects.
  • Other customer satisfaction activities and duties as assigned.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Energetic, Dynamic, Positive & Enthusiastic personality.
  • Ideally educated with Associate Degree or better; or have relevant professional work experience preferred.
  • Commercial flooring product knowledge and flooring product installation practices.
  • RFMS Takeoff / measure software experience a plus.
  • Possess strong computer skills, blueprint ready software, and competency in basic MS Office applications (outlook, excel, word)
  • Ability to think laterally and act through reasoned decision making
  • Be comfortable dealing with and efficient in processing paperwork.
  • Have basic blueprint reading abilities to direct the floor selling process.
