Dental Hygiene Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize hygiene scheduling and patient appointments
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
- Coordinate patient care between hygienists and dentists
- Maintain accurate patient records and continuing care tracking
- Monitor hygiene department performance and track key performance indicators
- Handle patient check-in/check-out processes
- Process financial transactions and insurance claims
- New patient lead management
- Implement patient recall and reminder systems
- Follow up with overdue patients to schedule appointments
- Audit patient charts for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines

Work Environment:

Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
