Responsibilities:
- Supervises room attendants, laundry attendants, turndown attendants, lobby attendants and housepersons.
- Completes housekeeping daily report and assign rooms to staff accordingly.
- Distributes and collects keys to staff making sure proper procedures are followed in documentation for key control.
- Inspects all rooms and reports any issues observed.
- Supervises employees and monitors activities to assure all duties are completed in an efficient manner.
- Thoroughly cleans room as necessary.
- Reviews all housekeeping assignments for completion at the end of the shift and report and/or resolves any issues.
- Performs daily checks for cleanliness and appearance of assigned rooms, floor linen closets, fire stairwells connecting the floors, and the elevators on each floor.
- Coordinate with the engineering department for all maintenance issues and follow up weekly on submitted work orders.
- 1 year of experience in housekeeping supervisory role. Previous room attendant experience is a plus.
- Developed English skills (written and orally)
- Frequent bending, walking, and standing.
- Lift up to 50 pounds
