What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Designer position at JBRICE DESIGN?
Interior Designer with minimum 6 years’ experience needed for International Design firm to direct large scale commercial projects: Hotel’s, Condo Tower Public Spaces, Country Clubs, restaurant, cafes etc. Must be exceptionally creative and effective with the documentation to substantiate it. Relaxed work environment with agreeable coworkers and interesting projects domestically and in Middle East.
DESIGN
Lead designer on your own projects with team. Frequent Client contact, Determine schedule and budget with Principal. Design or both architectural interiors and FF&E
FF&E TO INCLUDE:
Selection of FF&E and Architectural elements, shopping bag site presentations, final presentations, oversee creation of presentation boards, oversee and or write specifications, oversee or obtain pre-bid pricing product, value engineer to stay on budget if required, coordinate with renderer if requested, select and specify artwork and specialty items as needed.
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS TO INCLUDE:
Obtain and review of existing plans and site verification with junior, Furniture plans, construction plans, demolition, finish plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, details, door schedules, finish schedules, equipment schedules, fixture schedules, organize coding systems ( master legends etc. as required) Must be totally CAD fluent and as well as in the compilation of Full CD's including details. We do NOT use Revitt.
CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION:
When needed, Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, clients, franchise and our own consultants (i.e. lighting, Site supervision & meetings dependent on contract arrangement
Answer RFI’s, Maintain records and correspondence, Revise product as required, Write punch list
PURCHASING:
Oversee purchasing manager as required to Review orders. Client liaison with purchasing to coordinate with purchasing manager. Review of PO trace with purchasing Agent.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
