What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher position at JCC Early Childhood Center?
We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and a passion for working with infants and toddlers in our NAEYC accredited Early Childhood Center. Do you love babies and toddlers? We are currently looking for assistants to work in our infant and toddler rooms. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: following/recording infant feeding/sleeping schedules, changing diapers, interacting with the infants or toddlers (singing, reading stories, playing on the floor), maintaining overall classroom cleanliness, and having a positive rapport with parents.
**YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE AT LEAST THREE AFTERNOONS UNTIL 6 PM**(operating hours are 7:30 am - 6 pm) Mon-Fri. $14.75 per hour starting salary, depending on experience and education. Perks include free gym membership and possible discounts on child care and summer camp.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years old, have a high school diploma (or equivalent), and at least one year of work experience in a child care setting with infants.
Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree, preferably in Early Childhood Education, or a CDA, and two or more years of work experience in a child care setting with infants and toddlers.
