This position plays a key role in supporting HR and operations teams by providing reliable attendance data, helping manage the attendance point system, and contributing to process efficiency and labor planning within a manufacturing environment.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Collect, digitize, and maintain production-related data, including attendance, headcount forecasts, shift schedules, and overtime records.
- Maintain and monitor the attendance point tracking system, flagging trends and notifying management of potential policy violations.
- Collaborate with administrative and production staff to resolve data discrepancies, including missing or inaccurate attendance records.
- Assist in compiling daily and weekly headcount and attendance reports for operations and HR leadership.
- Maintain an organized data storage system and continually update data entry standards to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Respond to data queries and escalate major data issues to management.
- Maintain confidentiality of all employees and business data in accordance with company policies.
- Participate in weekly points review meetings.
- Must be at least 21 years old, as required by state law.
- Thorough knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient typing skills and experience working with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- 2 years of experience as a data entry specialist.
- 1 years of experience in an HR-related role is preferred.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
