Water Aerobic Instructor at the Burkley Fitness Center
A water aerobics instructor, teaches aerobic exercise classes in a pool setting. Their responsibilities include:
TeachingInstructing participants on proper techniques, demonstrating exercises, and explaining how to strengthen specific muscles
PlanningDesigning exercises for different fitness levels and ages, and preparing equipment, music, and handouts for each class
LeadingTeaching scheduled classes, starting and ending on time, and providing warm-ups, stretching, and cool downs
Enforcing safetyEnsuring that safety standards are met, and that participants remain safe during the class
EducatingTeaching participants about fitness and safety, and providing appropriate attire guidance
CommunicatingKeeping management informed of pool activities, facility needs, and significant problems
Following rulesFollowing and enforcing all pool standards and rules
