What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Technician position at Jefferson County Health Center?
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Clean all areas of the health center according to training and standards and, as instructed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate preferred but not required
- Experience in cleaning preferred but not required
- Must have a record of dependability
- On-the-job orientation is given
- Must be able to change routine/schedule as necessary due to patient & department needs
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Reports to Environmental Services Manager, or designated shift lead
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Works in a well-illuminated, climate-controlled environment
- May come in contact with hazardous chemical or treatment modalities
- Possibility exists of exposure to communicable diseases
- Extensive walking, standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, lifting, and reaching to clean
