QA Coordinator - Metrology - 1st Shift

Position Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinates with production and support departments on trial even schedule and support needs
• Ensure measurement systems, programs, and fixtures are in place prior to planned trial events
• Actively participate in customer drawing reviews, including providing suggestions for design countermeasures to improve quality and productivity
• Coordinate new model quality activities
  • Reviews, develops, and approves part quality requirements during early design phase
  • Facilitates inspection fixture development and manufacturing, including preparation of quality plan
    • development of concepts, procurement, calibration, and buy-off
• Develop Level 1 deliverable Inspection Data Sheets
• Support quality activities throughout trial event
• Evaluate part quality during events and customer-build meetings
  • provide input and implements countermeasures for tools and equipment
• Maintain software licensing and calibration on all equipment
• Ensure customer data requirements met prior to part shipment
• Actively engage in development and improvement of best practices for measurement systems
• Research new technologies and strategies for continuous improvement

• Advanced Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - able to create, read and understand and analyze intricate formulas, and create charts and graphs

• Exceptional time-management skills
• Experience with a Romer Arm or other scanning technology, preferred
• Advanced experience with Polyworks software, preferred
• Experience with Catia or CAD, preferred

Qualifications:

• Technical School Certification and/or Associate's Degree, preferred
• 1 -3 years previous experience in leadership role
• Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
