What are the responsibilities and job description for the LCSW/LPC for Behavioral Health Crisis Center position at Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority?
Be part of the solution! Are you a skilled behavioral health professional interested in providing services in a collaborative setting? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable team member to help us expand service hours at Eunoia Center. Eunoia Center is a walk-in crisis center run by Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority (JPHSA). Based on the “Living Room” model, the Eunoia Center provides intervention, counseling, and support services in a comfortable, calm, homelike setting. Eunoia Center provides a short-term behavioral health crisis intervention that offers a community-based voluntary alternative to more restrictive settings like hospitals. As Eunoia Center expands service hours, we will be offering recovery-oriented and time-limited services up to twenty-three hours per intervention. This enables individuals to return home with community-based services for support or to transition to a higher level of care, as appropriate.
JPHSA provides a continuum of community-based behavioral health and support programs through its Behavioral Health Community Services (BHCS) Division. The Eunoia Center plays a key role in that, operating as one part of the statewide Louisiana Crisis Response System.
