Part-Time Recruiter
Explore a career in high-end catering with Philadelphia’s leading catering company: Jeffrey A. Miller Hospitality Group. You will support our talent acquisition efforts in ensuring all of our 700 weddings for the 2025 season are properly staffed with seasonal employees.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an outgoing, curious personality who loves to talk to people. Previous recruiting experience is preferred but not required. You will be guided under the mentorship of our Talent Acquisition Manager to perform the following responsibilities & duties:
- Read and filter through hundreds of resumes on Indeed.
- Conduct dozens of video interviews weekly over Microsoft Teams.
- Enter each new hire into our applicant tracking system (ATS).
You will have the opportunity to grow within our company and learn the following recruitment skills:
- Develop stronger communication skills and confidence in public speaking.
- Learn about catering, fine-dining, and the fast-paced wedding industry.
- Familiarity and exposure to events management.
Work will be done in-person at our office in Lansdowne, PA. This internship will span over the majority of the 2024 wedding season, beginning in March and ending in October. Flexible working hours are provided based on the needs of our business. You will come in on certain days of the week and can work from home with permission from your supervisor. Your total hours will run on average between 10 - 40 hours a week depending on where we are in the wedding season.
Rate: $16.00 per hour
