Painter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting. This role involves restoring and remodeling various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet our clients' expectations. The Painter will work primarily on construction sites, utilizing hand tools and equipment to achieve optimal results.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Work collaboratively with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for both interior and exterior projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on the job site.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on construction sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential interior, exterior painting, or related fields.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with painting projects.
• Valid driver's license is required. Reliable transportation is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Painting/prep work: 1 year (Preferred)
