What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Aid Manager position at JEVS Human Services?
JEVS Human Services currently has an opportunity for an organized, team oriented individual to join our team at Orleans Technical College (OTC) as a Financial Aid Manager. OTC is JEVS' post-secondary, nonprofit career school that is committed to helping individuals achieve their employment goals.
Under the supervision of the Director of Student Financial Services, this position requires overseeing the operation of the financial aid department and staff.
Day-to-Day:
- Manage prescreen process and scheduling of financial appointments
- Proposes creative solutions to problems in the financial aid department.
- Ensure that all processing is inputted and updated in CampusVue
- Ensure that the financial aid officers are properly packaging students and obtaining proper documentation.
- Ensure that all students receive an entrance and exit interview.
- Work closely with admissions on reaching class start goals
- Assures financial aid compliance within all federal and state regulations
- Oversee proper scheduling, disbursement, and cancellation of Title IV aid
